After serving 4 1/2 years in the United States Marine Corps, Tim earned his BBA in Accounting from North Georgia College (now the University of North Georgia) in 2009. In 2010, he received his Masters in Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He then went on to earn his Certified Public Accountant license in 2011 in the State of Georgia.
Tim started his public accounting career at a local firm in Atlanta where he specialized in tax research projects. He quickly assumed roles of Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the manufacturing and service industries where he proactively implemented and restructured systems to provide relevant managerial information while maintaining compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. He has also developed standard costing models which were utilized to facilitate monthly projections, weekly management reports, and spot pricing of new product offerings.
